We are currently accepting applications for Operations/Project Manager to manage projects related to growth requirements of the company and develop and manage corporate-wide continuous improvement activities throughout the organization as directed by COO/GM.
The position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters located in Covington, LA but will require travel to other facilities/locations on a semi-regular basis.
Work schedule is Monday-Friday.
JOB OVERVIEW/
Responsibilities:
InitiallyAssist and work with the General Manager/COO in completing various company wide projects as well overseeing various departments including Production (3 facilities located in Covington, Harvey and New Orleans), Accounting, HR and/or Purchasing.
PotentiallyTaking over various GM responsibilities EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Management, Business, etc or 10 years related work experience
Qualifications:
10 years experience supervising/managing people and departments 5 years experience as General Manager or equivalent Certification, Training and/or Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Implementation is a Plus Computer Software Savvy, especially MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) Strong Management, Analytical and Research Skills Ability to Prioritize Work to Successfully Multi-Task and Still Meet Deadlines Organizational Skills with Strong Attention to Detail Capable, Self-Driven, Open minded Team-Player for a Positive Attitude Quick-Learner who can hit the Ground Running COMPENSATION/
