Administrative Support Coordinator

Covington, LA Covington, LA Full-time Full-time $15 - $17 an hour $15 - $17 an hour Description Healthcomp is hiring a Utilization Review, Administative Support Coordinator who works closely with Utilization Review and Case Management department to perform clerical/administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate incoming documents and faxes, including logging and distributing to appropriate representatives, and faxing out-going pre-certification, answer, and route incoming phone calls Provide accurate information to internal and external customers regarding pre-certification process, including gathering demographic, non-clinical, and/or provider data for pre-certification via phone, fax, or inter/intranet Perform data entry and maintain complete documentation of case information; assist in document maintenance or revisions; compile monthly reports; maintain logs and files Provide patient and healthcare provider follow-up after outpatient procedures Provide accurate information to internal and external customers (reports, flyers, data collection) Review service requests from internal and external customers respond accurately and timely Plan, organize and carry out work assignments timely and orderly Maintain folders for various projects organized for easy access Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns Participate in routine meetings and maintain a current task, shared task list or current projects Be able to meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Pulling invoices to confirm payment, if needed Folding letters or other correspondence Skills, Knowledge & Expertise KEY COMPETENCIES:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe and Outlook Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced/deadline driven environment Demonstrate ability to work independently with excellent judgment Accurate data entry skills (40wpm) Knowledge of medical terminology; ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS coding desirable Strong customer orientation Good time management skills; highly organized
Qualifications:
